We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was a very friendly group and both guides were really good, it was just a pity the weather was a bit off at times. I want to thank all at Heatherlea for the very efficient way the trip was organised and run. It was our first trip with you and is unlikely to be our last.

This trip report does indeed bring back many happy memories. It was a wonderful trip and our guide worked so hard for us, finding lots of great birds, wild flowers and butterflies. The hotel was excellent and the food very tasty. The ground agent was an exceptional local representative and very good company. I'll definitely recommend this holiday to my birding friends! We have just returned home after enjoying our Orkney Islands Explorer holiday and would like particularly to express our thanks and appreciation to our guide. He is an excellent ornithologist and bird watcher and his understanding and pleasure in sharing his knowledge shone through with every sighting. The holiday has provided a good introduction to the Islands, island life, and excellent bird watching opportunities.
