We have just returned home after enjoying our Orkney Islands Explorer holiday and would like particularly to express our thanks and appreciation to our guide. He is an excellent ornithologist and bird watcher and his understanding and pleasure in sharing his knowledge shone through with every sighting. The holiday has provided a good introduction to the Islands, island life, and excellent bird watching opportunities. I just wanted to say thank you very much to everybody for making it another trip to remember with all the hard work put in by you. The food, as usual, was superb. Many thanks to the Chef. A special thanks of course to our guide for his brilliant leadership, knowledge and great sense of humour. There were some wonderful memories. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was a very friendly group and both guides were really good, it was just a pity the weather was a bit off at times. I want to thank all at Heatherlea for the very efficient way the trip was organised and run. It was our first trip with you and is unlikely to be our last.
